Learning Re-Imagined

Equis Soy is a micro school in Medellin, Colombia with a focus on educating the entire human, mind, body and soul. At the core of our philosphy rests two important assumptions. The first is that the world is an amazing place full of incredible ideas, experiences and people. The second is that humans are natural learners and feel inclinded to better understand the world around them. At Equis Soy we simply provide the space, the tools and the community to help you exeed even your own expectations of yourself.

A Gymnasium For Your Mind

Much like a gym allows it’s clients to use the space for each person’s unique set of physical goals, at Equis Soy we allow our students to use our space for their unique set of interests. We take a multi-disciplinary and outcomes based approach to education while at the same time remaining flexible and individualizing the educational experience for each student.

A Focus On Mastery Not Grades

At Equis Soy we don’t believe in compartmentalizing students based on grades. Instead we use grades as a tools between teacher and student to help figure out where gaps in knowlege or confusion exists. Once the problem area is identified we can patch any gaps in knowlege to ensure every student is achieving their personal maximum potential.

Our priority is to develop a space where love for learning is prioritized over anything else. We believe the world is an amazing / student centric space with love for learning at the heart of everything we do.
